I’m running a short online course on how to make a good podcast.

I’m doing a new short podcasting course, because people have asked. Been meaning to do this for ages.

I’ve done a few of these one-on-one before, and people have said they’re really helpful.

One of the things about podcasting being so open-door and wild-west is that everyone is kind of on their own, and nobody shares the mistakes they made getting any good at it. That’s how you usually learn to make radio and TV and so on - by talking to people who’ve done it a hell of a lot before. It would save a lot of kerfuffle.

It’ll cover stuff like how to record without a studio, how to edit, how to format, how to make good stuff for nothing, what to do with your podcast once you’ve made it… what to expect in response… how to be annoying to corporate podcasters at industry events… all the fundamentals, with the aim of avoiding the inevitable pitfalls of Bad Podcasting, from a decade of hard-won experience.

It’s going to be 2 x sessions (90 mins each max) in February, online.
